Workflow tip – resize your images before uploading

UAL’s ePortfolio platform Workflow is extremely popular.  Almost everyone who uses it uploads images – quite often lots and lots of them!  These images are then embedded within pages or used to create galleries and slide shows, which are then themselves embedded in pages.

Please remember that Workflow is a website – and you will find it very useful (it will be much faster for you) if you resize your images before uploading!  Make sure that no images are bigger than 1200 x 1200 pixels.  You can do this using a wide range of image editing software – including packages such as Photoshop and Gimp.  These packages (and many others) will help you batch resize images and make them ‘web ready’ – this will make them fast to upload to Workflow and will also make the pages you create faster to load.
